QUEERING APARTHEID Arts Building 257 at Ottawa University 5:30pm-7pm Queering Apartheid: From South Africa to Israel/Palestine: This talk and slide presentation links the queer struggle against South African apartheid and in support of Black gay activist Simon Nkoli to the current queer struggles against pink-washing and Israeli Apartheid in the occupation and colonization of Palestine Featuring Gary Kinsman, a long-time queer liberation, anti-poverty and anti-capitalist activist who is currently a member of the Sudbury Coalition Against Poverty, and Palestine Solidarity Working Group.
